23 burn to death in Qamishlo fire
QAMISHLO (DİHA) - Many people died or got injured in the fire that took place in the Meyselun Neighborhood health center in Qamishlo city of West Kurdistan, Rojava
The fire began in the 7-roomed health center of the neighborhood around 11:30. 9 children, 13 woman; totally 23 people died, many got injured in the fire according to unofficial reports.
Reports state that a propane tank in the kitchen exploded and the fire expanded rapidly because of the oxygen tube explosions that took place in patient rooms.
Firefighters and public security officials quickly responded to the fire and put it out with the help of civilians nearby.
