Dayikên Şemiyê ask justice for Teymurtaş lost under custody

ŞIRNAK (DİHA) - Saturday Mothers (Dayikên Şemiyê) gathered for repeating their demand for justice in Cizre district of Şırnak in the 336th week of the act.

Saturday Mothers held their sit-in act as to enlighten the unsolved murders and to explain their outgrowth of the people who massacred under custody. In the act, the mothers carrying the placard "The album of disappeared" and the photographs of people, who were lost and sacrificed to unresolved murders, demanded justice for missings with carnations on their hands.

Party of Democratic Regions (DBP) and Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) executives, Human Rights Association (IHD) executives, KURDİ-DER, Peace Mothers Assembly, MEYA-DER, unions representatives and lots of citizens participated into the act.

Dayîkên Şemiyê asked aftermath of Hüseyin Teymurtaş who was summoned to military post and lost under custody in Şırnak in 1986. Speaking in the act, MEYA-DER Cizre Branch Member Veysi Durgut said, "Hüseyin Teymurtaş was tortured by Turkish soldiers for 15 days. He was released, but the soldiers denied and inhibited his treatment. 15 days leter, they summoned him to the post. He is lost since then. The family has not reached even his bones".

İHD Şırnak Branch Member Abdulkerim Pusat said the struggle of the mothers would resume until peace and justice were served.

The act of mothers ended with 5-minutes sit-in act.
