House raids in Siirt: 5 detentions

SİİRT (DİHA) - Five Kurdish citizens have been detained in the house raids in Siirt province.

Turkish police organized house raids at the early hours of Friday in Alan, Dumlupınar and Conbayır neighbourhoods of eastern province of Siirt. Polie broke doors of the houses in the raids, the locals reported.

In the wake of raids, Emrah Özdemir, Metin Kılıçaslan, Emrullah Keser and two other citizens have been taken into custody. The motive behind the detentions has remained unknown yet.
